MTPredictor™ - Additional EOD 5.0 Help files

Setting up Quotes4u for EOD 5.0

Quotes4u is a free data source that downloads price data from the Internet. This page will show you how to set this up for ease of integration into MTPredictor EOD:

First please use the ASCII file format when setting up your Portfolios in Quote4u:

This will create ASCII data files in the Folder you choose on your hard drive:

Here I have created a Folder called C:\quotes4u\Stevetest, so the ASCII data files will be created in C:\quotes4u\Stevetest\ASCII.

Now please use the Explorer Tab in the Open data File module to navigate to the Folder in which you saved your data files, then double click on a data file to Pot:

The first time you Plot a date file in MTPredictor, you will be asked to "define" the data definition. I have included a screen shot of the option to use for these data files:

As a double check you can see part of the data files in the bottom part of this window. You can use this to make sure you have the correct date format (for example), which is yyyymmdd here.

Your charts should now plot in MTPredictor.

Please note: make sure your data is current in Quotes4u. If not, please download any missing days to give you a complete history.

New Help Files will be added as new data sources are verified for compatibility with MTPredictor.
