Setting up the Paritech data feed for MTPredictor v6.5

This Help page shows you how to set up the new DD3 data downloader from Paritech Australia

Step 1 - Setting up DD3 downloader

We suggest that you tick the "ASX All Ords - ordinary equities for 500 largest companies" box ONLY. This will give you the best - and most active - shares to work with. There is no need to bother with less actively traded shares in other sections:

This will write out MetaStock data files into this Folder on your hard drive C:\shares\ASX\All ords

Step 2 - getting this data into a chart in MTPredictor v6.0

To do this, click on the round MTP button in the top left of the program, then Choose New Workspace, then New EOD Chart ( video here )

And:

This window will appear:

When you click on "Find Your Folder", navigate to C:\shares\ASX\All ords (this is where the DD3 downloader saved your files - Step 1 above) and all your individual files will be available to plot.

Tip: If you click "Add Path To Favorites", you can return to this folder just by clicking on the link in the bottom window.

Step 3 - Scanner

This is similar to the Open Chart Module, when we choose the C:\shares\ASX\All ords from the Add, then Local Folder:

Then ....

Choose "Australian Stocks"

Then Choose your Scan Criteria - we suggest:

Then Save As and give it a name of your choice:

All you have to do the next time you wish to run a scan from this Folder is select the saved criteria form the drop-down list and hit scan:
